Transaction Management is a set of services provided to Sellers, Buyers and Professional Service firms that facilitate the sale, financing, transition and integration of energy assets

The Transaction Manager acts as the Owner’s Project Manager within a defined Schedule of Authorities for the duration of a normal-course merger & acquisition event 

The role of the Transaction Manager will vary from Client to Client and Project to Project, but generally includes the following components: 

  • Scoping project requirements and agreeing on project execution plan with the Client to assure desired outcome;
  • Assuming responsibility for managing day-to-day workflows, resources and activities to achieve timely, efficient results;
  • Ensuring development of new management platform or seamless transition to existing platform;
  • Interacting with senior leadership / management of Owners & Banks to assure completion of transaction;
  • Providing input on financing terms & conditions, entity / structure issues, etc. to maximize value and assure a speedy completion of the deal, and
  • Investigating / recommending / executing other value creation strategies & tactics to maximize deal and asset value – before, during and post-close.
